Waheed Murad was the most famous and stylish romantic film hero in Pakistani films history. He belongs with a wealthy family at Sialkot. His father was a popular film distributor in Karachi. When Waheed Murad has done his MA English in Literature, he start his career as a producer.
He was produced two films as producer first one is "Insaan badalta hai" which is released in 1961 that was golden jublee film and second one is "Jab se dekha hai tumhein" which is released in 1963 this film also golden jublee production. Waheed Murads introduced in 1962 as an actor,his first two films was"Aulad" (1962) and "Daamen"in 1963 were as co-actor and he introduced himself as hero in his production film "Heera aur Pathar" in 1964.

But give him main breakthrough from the pakistani first Platinum Jubilee Urdu film "Arman" in 1966. Thi s film was remarkable and its songs were very popular even in nowadays as well.

Its one song got seplendid popularity whiah was "KO KO Rina.."He was producer, writer of Arman. His pair with Zeba and Rani and deeba got great success Waheed Murad just appear as villain in only one film "Sheeshe ka Ghar". His last film is "Hero", which was released after his death in 1985.

He was well-dressed, beautiful eyes, handsome and attractive personality. He had extremely popular hair style. His nickname was "Veedu". Nears and dears called him as "Veedu". Waheed Murad died in Karachi on November 23rd, 1983 by heart attack.
